And she goes nananana, banananana.

Colours will keep on turning – cuz you need the bananas as speckled as they come, as yellow as they make ‘m.

Sweet homemade ice cream, ready to start your day then.

And The Radios won’t be the only ones, telling you how to prep.

Cuz even Dr. Dre will agree with this recipe, yelling in the back – hè(ll) yeah!

Invest. In. A. Food processor. Seriously, one of the best investments you’ll ever make.

  • 4 frozen bananas, sliced

  • 120 ml (1/2 cup) milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • pinch of salt
(cinnamon, cardamon, chili pepper powder, ginger powder..these are all options to try and add instead of the vanilla and lime (or add together)).

  • 1 tbsp tahini (optional)

extra needed: high speed blender or food processor, measuring cups & spoons.

serves: 2-4 portions

Mix everything together in your food processor.

It may look crumbly in the beginning, just keep blending until it’s completely smooth, you may have to scrape down the food processor once or twice.

When smooth, your easy nice cream is finished and ready to be eaten! Serve immediately.

Would you like to add any variations?* You can find a few options below.

*Always mix the bananas with all the liquid ingredients first, then add the extras 😉.

Once you've bought a food processor it’s homemade ice cream day, everyday 🍦🍦🍦!

  1. Tropical: add 1 heaped cup of frozen mango. Lastly garnish with passionfruit and 1/2 tbsp of shredded coconut per serving.

  2. Blueberry: add 2 cups of frozen blueberries.

  3. Chocolate: add 2 tbsps cocoa powder, 1-2 tbsps maple syrup and a pinch of salt.

  4. Peach: add 4-6 ripe peaches, small chunks, frozen. Lastly add 1/2 cup fresh raspberries for extra sweet flavour.

  5. Mocha: add 2 tbsps cocoa powder, 1 tsps instant espresso powder or 1-2 tsps instant coffee. Lastly add 20 chopped walnuts or pecans.

  6. Strawberry: add 2 cups frozen strawberries.

  7. Nutella: add 1 tbsp cacao, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp vanilla and a pinch of salt. Lastly add 20 chopped hazelnuts.

  8. Peanut Butter: add 3-4 tbsps smooth 100% peanut butter. And add a pinch of salt, cinnamon and vanilla extract.

  9. Pina Colada: add 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks and 4-6 tbsps frozen coconut milk.

  10. Cherry: add 1 cup of frozen cherries.

For toppings, think; fresh fruits, coconut, chocolate, flaxseed, nuts, seeds, dates, cranberries, raisins, homemade muesli, nut butter, peanut butter, spices, grated lime or lemon, oatmeal, shredded carrot, caramel sauce, rawnola or whatever you prefer. Enjoy!
